Utilities and Annual Costs
Great attention has paid to the utilities serving the penthouse.
Electricity is via a 3 phase commercial supply. The air conditioning/heating/dehumidifying system is a commercial grade split installation with four cooling units and there is above average hot water availability provided by the two 100 litre individual hot water tanks.
The water tanks, hot and cold, are installed on the roof in sun sheilded cabinets where required as is the aircon master unit and water pumps, meaning there is no AC fan or pump noise audible to the penthouse or terrace areas.
The building has a four person lift serving all floors, including the basement garages. It is also fitted with a voltage regulator and backup system to ensure it keeps working despite Gozo's fluctuating voltage.
Annual Property Costs
There are no annual property taxes or Local rates to pay in Gozo, and all public services are provided directly by the individual councils at no charge to property owners. There is an annual Resident’s cost contribution, which is set by the owners themselves each year at the resident’s AGM. The agreed rate for 2023/24 is as below.
